Rebuilding a Classic Math Game with Modern Web Tools: My 24 Point Game Experiment

The 24 Point Game is a classic math challenge many of us played in school, but rarely tried to build ourselves. Recently, while learning AI-assisted programming and modern web development, I decided to recreate it as a small practice project.

The rules are simple: given four numbers, use basic arithmetic operations (+ − × ÷) to make 24. Despite its simplicity, implementing correct validation and handling edge cases turned out to be more interesting than expected.

I focused on keeping the project lightweight, predictable, and easy to use on both desktop and mobile, relying on clear rules instead of complex AI logic.

The result is a browser-based version that can be tried instantly:

This is still an ongoing experiment, and I’m continuing to improve it based on real usage and feedback. If you’ve built similar learning tools or logic games, I’d be glad to hear your thoughts.
